Data sheet Press release Sample request FAS™ The Flexible Alkaline Separator (FAS, patent 6,372,379) is the founding membrane developed by AMS. It is a microporous polyethylene (PE) separator specifically designed for alkaline battery applications. Compared to cellophane and other separators, FAS offers 200% performance improvements in sliver zinc, silver cadmium, nickel zinc, nickel cadmium, nickel metal hydride, zinc air and similar battery types. Data sheet Sample request HydroSep™ Coming soon is a thin, high performance separator for primary and secondary alkaline applications. This mineral base material will be primarily hydrophilic, thus inherently wettable. This is in direct contrast to 100% hydrophobic separators that require grafting of another material. This separator has extremely low electrical resistance and will significantly improve the capacity and life of such batteries as silver zinc, Ni-Zinc, Ni-Cad, Ni-MH and Zinc-Air.
